Resumo
O tema da investigação, O Sagrado no Imaginário Barrosão – E em Padre António Lourenço Fontes – Estudo Etnolinguístico –, enquadra-se na área científica da linguística e, dentro desta, na etnolinguística.
A natureza da investigação, orientada pela etnolinguística, estabelece necessariamente um diálogo interdisciplinar com a antropologia, mais concretamente com a antropologia do imaginário, na perspectiva de Gilbert Durand.
Com esta dissertação tentamos partir da análise da língua e da cultura no imaginário barrosão e das recolhas do padre António Lourenço Fontes e, identificar o léxico, símbolos e imagens do sagrado que remetem para a cultura arquetípica, obtendo as linhas principais do seu registo de espiritualidade do sagrado.
Relacionados com o âmbito da fenomenologia da religião, os símbolos aparecem, ligados aos ritos e aos mitos, enquanto linguagem do sagrado. Aqui, a expressividade do mundo chega, de facto, à linguagem por meio das expressões de duplo sentido.
Através do léxico analisado, verificamos que os símbolos predominantes nas rezas mágicas podem remeter para a cultura celta e para os cultos pré-romanos, mantendo-se vivos no imaginário popular.
Verificamos na zona do Barroso que os limites entre o sagrado e o profano, entre o rito religioso e a festa estão muito próximos, confundindo-se e entrelaçando-se na maior parte das situações. O bem e o mal colocam-se como indispensáveis um ao outro, sendo que o primeiro não subsiste sem o segundo.
O Homem barrosão preserva a crença naquilo que está fora do quotidiano e das coisas comuns, nas quais se expressa uma ordem sagrada que dava e dá sentido às suas vidas, aos lugares e à sua concepção de mundo, ela continua a mitificar o tempo e o espaço do sagrado.
The thesis of the research, The sacred in the “Barrosao” imaginary – And in Priest Antonio Lourenco Fontes - Ethnolinguistic Study – is incorporated in a scientific linguistic area, and in this one, of the ethnolinguistic. The nature of the research oriented by the ethnolinguistic, necessarily establishes an interdisciplinary dialogue with the anthropology, more specifically with the anthropology of the imaginary, in Gilbert Durand perspective. With this essay, it was done an attempt to start from the analysis of the language and the imaginary culture of the “barrosao” and the Priest Antonio collects, and try to identify the lexicon, the symbols, and the sacred imaginary, that refers to the archetypical culture obtaining the main outlines of its sacred spirituality records. Interrelated to the ambit of the religion phenomenology, the symbols appear connected to the rites and myths as a sacred language. Here, the society expressiveness comes, in fact, to the language, by means of the dual sense expressions. Through the studied lexicon, we verified that the prevailing symbols in the magical prayers can lead to the Celt culture and the pre-roman cults, keeping it alive in the folk imaginary. We verify in the “Barroso” area that the limits between the sacred and the profane and the religious rite and the festivity are tightly close, mixing up and mingling in most of the situations. Good and evil are indispensable to one another, which is to say that the first one does not survive without the other. The “barrosao” man preserves the belief in what is not in his every day life and the common things, in which a sacred order expresses itself that gave and gives sense to its life, to the places and to its conception of the world, it continues to mythicise the time and the space of the sacred.
