Resumo
Este relatório, que serve como componente de avaliação da Unidade Curricular de Estágio referente ao 2º ano do 2º ciclo do mestrado em Línguas Estrangeiras Aplicadas, na variante de Comércio e Relações Internacionais, abordará a entidade acolhedora do estágio curricular, o The Vintage House Douro, ao expor todas as tarefas executadas ao longo do mesmo.
O presente relatório divide-se em duas partes. Na primeira parte será abordado o Turismo, nomeadamente conceitos e as suas origens, posteriormente o Turismo no Douro e a região do Pinhão. Em seguida, será abordada a evolução do setor hoteleiro e mais especificamente, a importância e impacte que tem na economia portuguesa. Por último, será abordado o The Vintage House Douro, e será feita referência ao turismo de negócios, vertente que tem vindo a aumentar nos últimos anos.
Na segunda parte deste plano, será apresentada a entidade acolhedora do estágio, as atividades práticas e desenvolvidas, nomeadamente as tarefas desempenhadas nos variados setores do hotel (receção, loja de vinhos, housekeeping). Além disso, será apresentada uma apreciação crítica do estágio, onde será dada a opinião pessoal da estagiária e por último, uma conclusão sobre a realização do estágio e do relatório.
Throughout this report that serves as an element of assessment of the internship performed as part of the 2nd year of the master degree in Applied Foreign Languages, in the variant of Trade and International Relations, I will present the organization where I trained, The Vintage House Douro and I will discuss the tasks that I performed during that period. This report is divided into two parts and the first part will approach the Tourism, including its concepts and origins, subsequently the Tourism in Douro and the region of Pinhão. After, it will be presented the evolution of the hotel industry and more specifically, the importance and impact that has on the Portuguese economy. Finally, The Vintage House Douro will be addressed, and will be made references regarding the business tourism, that has been increasing in recent years. In the second part of this plan will be presented the hosting organization of the internship, the developed practical activities, including the tasks performed in various sectors of the hotel (reception, wine shop, housekeeping), a critical assessment of the stage, where will be given the personal opinion of the intern, and at least, a conclusion about the internship and the realization of its report.
