escolaridade, 52.3% do sexo masculino e a maioria vive numa família biparental. Nessa
estrutura familiar face as demais variáveis.
emocional.
Bullying is the presence of aggression, physical or psychological repeatedly in the school context. This study aims to study the possible relationship between family structure and parental style and to understand how these dynamics relate to the involvement of children in bullying situations. To identify and characterize the involvement with bullying, an adapted version of the questionnaire on social exclusion and school violence was used (QEVE adapted by Martins, 2005). The parental styles were identified through the EMBU-A - adapted by Lacerda (2005). In a sample of 282 participants aged 11 to 13 years, (M = 11.58; SD = .719), mostly attending the 6th year of schooling, 52.3% of males and the majority live in a biparental family. In this sample 71 emigrant members participated, allowing a better understanding of the family structure compared to the other variables. Through the obtained results it was possible to prove a positive relation between the involvement in bullying in school contexts of the victims, aggressors and the parental practices of rejection, as well as of overprotection. On the other hand, there was a negative relationship between bullying involvement in school context and parental practices of emotional support.
