Ultimamente a preocupação com o meio ambiente e o seu futuro tem vindo a ser, cada vez mais, um assunto alarmante em todo o mundo. Na Europa esta situação está a fazer com que vários países tenham de cumprir metas e objetivos na produção de energia renovável.
Ao longo desta dissertação será abordada a ação no domínio das energias renováveis em Portugal, e na Europa, com foco na energia solar. É feita uma análise da atual legislação em vigor na produção fotovoltaica em Portugal. Serão esmiuçadas as principais características da energia solar fotovoltaica tendo em vista uma aplicação futura.
As unidades industriais têm elevados consumos de eletricidade e, consequentemente, refletem custos indesejados sobre a mesma, o que leva a questionarem-se sobre a aposta em unidades de autoconsumo. O autoconsumo leva a redução da fatura elétrica e, naturalmente, a uma menor dependência da rede elétrica de serviço público por parte dos consumidores.
O objetivo desta dissertação é a análise da energia numa unidade industrial e dimensionamento de uma instalação fotovoltaica.
Para validação, e futura implementação, do caso de estudo realizou-se uma análise critica aos resultados obtidos, quer a nível energético quer a nível económico.
Lately the concern of the environment and its future has been, increasingly, an alarming subject in the whole world. In Europe this situation leads several countries to meet goals and objectives in the production of renewable energy. Throughout this dissertation will be addressed the action in the field of renewable energies in Portugal, and in Europe, focusing on solar energy. An analysis of the current legislation on photovoltaic production in Portugal is made. The main features of photovoltaic solar energy will be explored with a view to future application. The industrial units have high consumption of electricity and, consequently, reflect unwanted costs on the same, which leads to questioning about the bet on self-consumption units. Self-consumption leads to the reduction of the electric bill and, of course, to a lower dependence on the utility's electricity network by consumers. The objective of this dissertation is the analysis of the energy in an industrial unit and the design of a photovoltaic system.
