Resumo
A presente dissertação tem como objetivo definir uma metodologia para espacialização de corredores verdes, que culminará na delimitação de um corredor verde, periférico ao núcleo urbano da cidade de Paredes. Assim, a questão à qual esta investigação pretende responder é: qual o caminho para criar conetividade e fruição na estrutura verde e recreativa envolvente ao centro urbano de Paredes? Nas primeiras fases do trabalho procede-se ao levantamento, à análise e à caraterização da paisagem. Posteriormente avaliam-se as potencialidades da zona para proteção e para atividades recreativas, tendo em consideração a criação de conetividades entre as áreas a proteger da periferia e o núcleo urbano. A visão estratégica contínua implementada por esta estrutura, irá integrar corredores verdes com diferentes formas e funções. Tipologias estas que vão desde o espaço agro-cultural e produtivo, aos espaços lúdicos, interligados por um sistema de circulação acessível às pessoas. Desta forma, pretende-se dotar o centro urbano de Paredes de uma estrutura verde e recreativa mais extensiva, que se interpenetre com a zona envolvente, voltando a unir o sistema rural-urbano
This dissertation aims to define a methodology for the spatial definition of a greenway in the peripheral urban core of Paredes’s city. Thus, the research question posed is: how can connectivity and fruition be created in the green and recreational structure surrounding the urban centre of Paredes? In a first phase, survey, analysis and characterization of the landscape were carried out. Subsequently, the potential of the area for protection and recreational activities was evaluated considering the creation of connections between the areas to be protected on the periphery and the urban core. The connectivity and fruition strategic vision that integrates the green and recreational structure will include greenways with different forms and functions. The spatial typologies will range from agro-cultural and productive to recreational spaces, all interconnected by a circulation system accessible to people. In this way, the intention is to provide the urban centre of Paredes with a more extensive green and recreational structure, which interpenetrates with the surrounding area, bringing together the rural-urban system.
