implementar a prática pedagógica numa sala do ensino pré-escolar.
This report serves to present the work carried out during our pedagogical practice in 2010/2011. With a theoretical/reflective basis as a starting point, we tried to make it explicit in a clear and organized manner, the way we should implement the pedagogical practice in a pre-school classroom. The equivalence of teaching qualification to a master’s degree is a clear demand for quality and professionalism in the teaching process, which becomes extremely important for the development of a country. We are aware this report reflects all the work as a kindergarten teacher in 2010/2011 with the group of children of Escolas Monsenhor Jerónimo do Amaral. We began with the description of the context, referring to the surroundings and environment of the kindergarten, its characteristics and organization, as well as its facilities. Afterwards, and with some theoretical support, we made a reflection on curricula orientations in pre-school teaching, which constitutes the necessary principles to back up the teachers’ decisions in their practice, that is, to carry through the whole learning/teaching process. Those are also different from some curriculum conceptions for being more general and far-reaching, as they include the possibility to base many teaching options, and therefore, many curricula. We approach some concepts such as planning, evaluation and curriculum. We set out the pedagogical model we used, supported in some authors. We end up with a reflection on pre-school teaching projects and their role on children’s development.
