Pode-se definir autoavaliação como o julgamento realizado pelo aluno, do seu próprio trabalho,
baseando-se para tal em critérios previamente estabelecidos e evidências, tendo como objetivo
principal melhorar o seu desempenho durante o seu processo de aprendizagem. São vários os
autores que são da opinião que a autoavaliação do aluno é uma ferramenta muito importante
para melhorar o desempenho académico do aluno, assim como a sua autonomia, autoeficácia,
autoestima e sentido crítico.
No decorrer do estágio analisou-se a prática da autoavaliação em alunos do pré-escolar e do 1º
ciclo. Para tal foram aplicados vários instrumentos e realizadas várias atividades e tarefas,
adaptadas à faixa etária, que permitissem aos alunos em causa refletirem sobre o seu
desempenho, realçando o que mais gostaram e onde sentiram mais dificultadas.
Apesar da tenra idade, a ferramenta da autoavaliação torna-se muito importante para o
desenvolvimento das crianças, permitindo que estas tenham uma participação ativa no seu
processo de aprendizagem, apostando nas suas principais capacidades e colmatando os seus
pontos fracos.
Este estágio serviu para fazer a articulação entre os conteúdos teóricos apreendidos durante
todo o mestrado com a prática, ou seja, com a realidade de uma sala de aula, contribuindo para
a cimentação de saberes e conhecimentos acerca de ser educador/professor, que serão muito
úteis no futuro da prática profissional.
Self-assessment can be defined as the judgment made by the student, from his own work, based on previously established criteria and evidence, with the main objective of improving his performance during his learning process. Several authors are of the opinion that student selfassessment is a very important tool to improve the student's academic performance, as well as their autonomy, self-efficacy, self-esteem and critical sense. For the present stage we analysed the practice of self-assessment in preschool and first cycle students. In order to do so, several instruments were applied, and several activities and tasks adapted to the age group were carried out, allowing the students to reflect on their performance, highlighting what they liked and where they felt the most difficult. Despite the young age, the self-assessment tool becomes very important for the children's development, allowing them to take an active part in their learning process, betting on their main abilities and filling their weaknesses. This stage served to articulate between the theoretical contents learned during the whole masters with the practice, that is, with the reality of a classroom, contributing to the cementing of knowledge and knowledge about being an educator / teacher, which will be very useful in the future of professional practice.
