New families of Jacobsthal and Jacobsthal-Lucas numbers

In this paper we present new families of sequences that generalize the Jacobsthal and the Jacobsthal-Lucas numbers and establish some identities. We also give a generating function for a particular case of the sequences presented.

k-Pell, k-Pell-Lucas and modified k-Pell numbers: some identities and norms of Hankel matrices

In this paper we present some identities involving terms of k-Pell, k-Pell-Lucas and Modified k-Pell sequences. We also give some results on the column and row norms of Hankel matrices which entries are numbers of these sequences.

On Leonardo Numbers

In this paper, we consider the sequence of Leonardo numbers and we present some properties involving this sequence, including the Binet formula, and the generating function. Furthermore, Cassini’s identity, Catalan’s identity and d’Ocagne’s identity for this sequence are given.
