| dc.description.abstract | É cada vez mais frequente a utilização dos sistemas Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) para organizar a informação relevante de uma organização. Estes sistemas permitem integrar a informação, contribuem para a melhoria do processo de tomada de decisão, da arquitectura de tecnologias e sistemas da informação, do serviço prestado aos clientes, assim como a melhoria de processos. Permitem ainda eliminar actividades redundantes, reduzir custos, stocks, pessoal e tempo de resposta às solicitações. Podem também contribuir para o aumento da produtividade, assim como para o aumento dos resultados de negócio, valorizando em termos globais as organizações que os possuem. Vários estudos têm sido realizados com vista a melhor compreender a realidade da adopção deste tipo de sistemas, no entanto em Portugal são ainda escassos estudos focados em ERP. Com este trabalho procura-se estudar a realidade da adopção de sistemas ERP nas grandes empresas em Portugal. Para tal, foi realizado um estudo baseado em questionário com a finalidade de identificar as principais motivações inerentes à adopção de Sistemas ERP, os resultados obtidos com a sua implementação, os critérios que são utilizados na selecção dos sistemas e dos fornecedores, entre muitos outros aspectos. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | It is more and more frequent the use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to organize the relevant information of an organization. These systems allows to integrate the information, contribute to process’ improvement, to the improvement of the information technologies and information systems architecture, improvement of customer’ services, as well as the improvement of business processes. They allow to eliminate redundant activities, to reduce costs, stocks, personal and time to market. They can also contribute to the increase of the productivity, as well as for the increase of the business results, increasing the business value. Several studies have been conducted with the aim to better understand the reality of the adoption of this kind of systems, however in Portugal they are still scarce studies focused in ERP. This work aims to study the reality of the adoption of ERP systems in the biggest companies in Portugal. A survey was accomplished to study the main inherent motivations to ERP's adoption, the results obtained with its implementation, the criteria used in the selection of systems and suppliers, among many other aspects. | eng |
