O presente Relatório de Estágio, imprescindível para a obtenção do grau de Mestre em Ensino do 1.º e 2.º Ciclos do Ensino Básico, teve por base os estágios pedagógicos realizados na Escola EB 1/JI Nº7 de Vila Real – Araucária e na Escola Básica do 2.º e 3.º Ciclos Monsenhor Jerónimo do Amaral. Estes estágios foram realizados no âmbito de diversas disciplinas (Língua Portuguesa, Matemática e Estudo do Meio, no caso do 1.º CEB e Língua Portuguesa, História e Geografia de Portugal, Matemática e Ciências da Natureza, no caso do 2.º CEB). Tendo em conta a nossa temática de investigação, este relatório focaliza-se, predominantemente, na prática pedagógica realizada no âmbito das disciplinas de Estudo do Meio do 1.º CEB e de Ciências da Natureza do 2.º CEB, em que o trabalho prático assume um papel relevante.
Pretende-se, então, ao longo deste relatório refletir sobre a importância do trabalho prático no contexto de ensino-aprendizagem das ciências e do papel que o professor deve assumir neste âmbito. Deste modo, sustentamos esta reflexão na perspetiva construtivista do ensino-aprendizagem das ciências, tendo sido esta a base de escolha e fundamentação dos métodos, estratégias e recursos de ensino utilizados na nossa prática pedagógica. Ao abordar esta temática, pretendemos igualmente que seja clara a importância e influência das ciências na formação pessoal, social e intelectual dos alunos.
Este relatório constitui-se, então, como uma preciosa ferramenta de aprendizagem, reflexão e avaliação pedagógica, pois permitiu uma melhor e maior conscientização acerca do trabalho por nós realizado na prática pedagógica, bem como estudar e apresentar pistas para a melhoria da mesma no futuro, de uma forma clara, objetiva e concisa.
The present training report, indispensable for obtaining the Master degree in Education of Elementary School, was based on school training in Escola EB 1/JI de Vila Real- Araucária and in the Elementary School of Monsenhor Jerónimo do Amaral. These trainings were based on several school subjects (Portuguese, Mathematics and Environmental Studies, in the case of the 1st Cycle of Basic School, and Portuguese, History and Geography of Portugal, Mathematics and Sciences, in the case of the 2nd Cycle of the Basic School). Related to the investigation subject matter, this report focus, predominantly, on school practices on the subject of Environmental Studies of the 1st Cycle of Basic School and Sciences of the 2nd Cycle of the Basic School where practical work assumes a relevant role. So we intend in this report to reflect about the importance of practical work in the Sciences teaching and learning context and about the role which the teacher must assume in this context. This way, we based this reflection on the teaching and learning constructivist perspective of Sciences, these were the basis of the choice and grounding of the methods, strategies and educational resources used in our school practice. Approaching this subject matter, we intend to clear the importance and influence of Sciences in personal, social and intellectual students’ formation. This report is like a precious tool of learning, reflection and school assessment because it allowed a better and a greater awareness about our work in school practice, as well as study and present hints for improving this practice is the future in a clear, objective and concise way.
