O presente estudo,
teve como objetivo avaliar a coordenação motora de 24 adolescentes do sexo
feminino (GC 15 ± 0,0 anos, 1,65±0,1cm) que praticam dança (12 alunas) e
(GEx 15 ± 0,0 anos, 1,65±0,1cm) não praticantes (12 alunas) no âmbito do
desporto escolar.
Considering the correspondence between the benefits provided by dance practice, the educational role of the school in the student's development and consideration of the physical activities while construction of posture and personality of the student, we study in particular the effect that the dance would has at the motor development of the students. This study aimed to assess the motor coordination of 24 female adolescents (GC 15 ± 0,0 years, 1,65±0,1cm) that practice dance (12 students) and (GEx 15 ± 0,0 years, 1,65±0,1cm) did not practice (12 students) in the context of school sports. To achieve this aim was selected the Motor Coordination KTK test. No differences were observed between the two groups (p ≥ o,05). In this way we concluded that is relevant the number of weekly Dance classes, being crucial in the development of motor coordination, thus it would be appropriate to include a training program aimed at the development of this variable.
