do Epanet 2.0).
Water distribution systems are constantly changing given the growing need for water, infrastructure aging and expanding population and industrial clusters. In this context, the hydraulic simulation models are an essential tool in the management and operation of water distribution networks. These are a tool with a wide applicability domain that can be used both by designers such as management companies. The hydraulic simulation model applied in the case of study was the WaterNetGen (extension of Epanet 2.0). This software is free and the advantages of Epanet, also includes the possibility of studying consumption as dependent and independent of pressure. After modeling the water distribution network of Andreus, several scenarios are simulated in terms of operating conditions with the objective of improving their performance.
