This document aims to develop a final report in order to achieve the master's degree in Sports Science with specialization in Team Sports from the University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro. This internship was carried out at Sporting Clube de Braga’s Under-17 team in the 2015/16 season within a football training context and in a team that played in the National Youth League. This report focuses on analysing the training process and therefore the "game model” and “training model” especially the training methods used by the technical team during this season, which always sought to be in accordance with the game and training model recommended by the club's coordination department and the head coach. The training methods will be analysed in detail, as well as the periodization designed for this season in both quantitative and qualitative way, to then be compared with the literature presented throughout this paper. Pursuant to another dimension of the analysis, it presents some inferences to the results obtained by the athletes in anthropometric data collection. It also analyses the evolution of athletes in this development stage as football players and the aspects that may be associated with an improvement or worsening in results. Another aspect is related to the “pass networks” through a collection of passes completed among athletes in games of the different stages of the competion, with the goal of studying the team's behavioural tendencies, comparing the different levels of difficulty imposed by the opponents.
